Venstre in Gladsaxe City Council
The stable centre-right alternative
Your everyday life is our focus.
We work for safe childcare, schools with strong academics, and elderly care that puts the needs of seniors first.
We want to invest in better traffic solutions and urban spaces that support vibrant local shops.
Venstre creates policies rooted in your everyday life
Venstre is your guarantee for forward-thinking policies and modern solutions in Gladsaxe City Council.
We’ve set a clear agenda focusing on:
-
higher quality in urban development,
-
stronger schools and leisure programs,
-
improved management of the municipality’s many construction projects,
-
and closer cooperation with local businesses.
We aim to continue developing Gladsaxe Municipality with a sharp focus on everyday life and responsible financial management.
Schools and Childcare
Schools must offer academic challenges and personal development for all students.
We want to ensure calm, professionalism, and the opportunity to immerse in learning.
Daycare centres must be safe for both children and parents – and we must make sure great staff want to stay in their jobs in Gladsaxe.
Traffic and Mobility
Traffic is a challenge in Gladsaxe.
Venstre will work towards well-functioning solutions for pedestrians, cyclists, and cars alike.
Public transport also needs a boost.
We are ready to invest – but will also pressure the national government, for example regarding lower public transport fares and less noise pollution from traffic.
Seniors and Housing
Senior housing is in high demand.
We are working to ensure more senior homes in the municipality, so seniors can move to smaller, more manageable homes – without losing their local network.
Elderly care should be as much as possible on the individual’s terms.
Safety and Emergency Services
Emergency preparedness must be strong if we are to feel safe.
Venstre is ready to invest when there’s a clear need for more staff or resources in the local emergency services.
Urban Spaces and Local Shops
Local businesses are under pressure.
We want to improve public squares and streetscapes so shops, cafés, and restaurants can thrive and serve as meeting places for the community.
Economy and Taxes
Venstre believes in low taxes.
Living in Gladsaxe is expensive – so we must keep taxes as low as possible.
